electrical overload = when the flow of electric current through a conductor is greater than the capacity of the conductor
short circuit = a bad electrical connection that causes the current to flow in the wrong direction, often having the effect of stopping the power supply
ground fault = an undesired flow of current to ground
ZYX panel = terminal blocks, plugs, or distribution panels with the three live phase conductors of a 3-phase AC power supply
blown fuse = a broken fuse
tripped = disconnected

❗️single pole vs. double pole

A single pole switch has one input and one output, it has two states; “on” or “off”. They can be wired either normally open or normally closed and can be either latching(=fixed) or momentary(=non-fixed). A double pole switch has two connections to 2 separate circuits. They are essentially 2 switches in one. The connections can be staggered(=like chess board) or connect simultaneously.
