Types Of Businesses
sole proprietor = a self-employed person who owns and runs their business without a partner or partnerpublic business = activities related to a government agency or a municipality or a public company(=a company whose shares are traded on public stock exchanges)
partnership = a business or firm owned and run by two or more partners
cooperative = a farm, business, or other organization which is owned and run jointly by its members, who share the profits or benefits
incorporated business = a business that becomes a legal entity(=an individual, company, or organization that has legal rights and obligations). It's independent of its members. This makes it easier to enter into contracts, incur debt(=borrowing money) or get funding(=to obtain financial resources to support a project, business, or activity)
corporation = a large company or group of companies authorized to act as a single entity and recognized as such in law
shareholder = a person, company, or institution that owns at least one share of a company's stock or a share of a mutual fund
LLC = Limited Liability Company = a business structure that protects the assets of its owners from lawsuits and creditors
non-profit organization = an organization that does not aim to make a profit, but works to help people
the needy = poor people
