compatible = well suited

universal donor = a person of blood group O, who can in theory donate blood to recipients of any ABO blood group

plasma = the colourless fluid part of blood, lymph, or milk, in which corpuscles(=cells, antibodies) or fat globules(=drops of fat) are suspended

platelet = a small colourless disc-shaped cell fragment without a nucleus, found in large numbers in blood and involved in clotting
