Energy

potential energy = the energy held by an object because of its position relative to other objects

kinetic energy = the energy that it possesses due to its motion decelerate = reduce or cause to reduce in speed work = the energy transferred to or from an object via the application of force along a displacement(=moving something from its place or position) net work = all the work that applied G = Gravitational acceleration = an expression used in physics to indicate the intensity of a gravitational field. It is expressed in meters per second squared (m/s 2 ). At the surface of the earth, 1 g is about 9.8 m/s stopping distance = the distance that a driver needs in order to safely bring a vehicle to a complete stop abstract = a summary of the contents of a book, article, or speech
