abdomen = the part of the body below the chest that contains the stomach, bowels, etc. 

bruise = a blue, brown or purple mark that appears on the skin after somebody has fallen, been hit

concussion = a temporary loss of consciousness(=the state of being able to use your senses and mental powers to understand what is happening) caused by a hard hit on the head; the effects of a severe hit on the head, such as not being able to think clearly and temporary loss of physical and mental abilities

scratch = a mark, a cut or an injury made by scratching (=cut skin) somebody’s skin or the surface of something 

shoulder blade = either of the two large flat bones at the top of the back 

small = the lower part of the back where it curves in 

waist = the area around the middle of the body between the ribs and the hips, often narrower than the areas above and below
