contaminate = to make a substance or place dirty or no longer pure by adding a substance that is dangerous or carries disease 

utensil = a tool that is used in the house 

tongs = a tool with two long parts that are joined at one end, used for picking up and holding things 

cling film = a thin clear plastic material that sticks to a surface and to itself, used especially for wrapping food 

sink =  large open container in a kitchen that has taps to supply water and that you use for washing dishes in 

sufficiently = enough for a particular purpose; as much as you need 

bain-marie = a pan of hot water in which a bowl of food is cooked or warmed slowly
