word processing program = a computer program that provides for input, editing, formatting, and output of text, often with some additional features. 

compatibility issue = when users are using the same type of software for a task, such as word processors, that cannot communicate with each other. 

macro = a single instruction in a computer program that causes a complete series of instructions to be carried out, in order to perform a particular task.

feature = to have as a prominent attribute or aspect.

customize = to make or change something to suit the needs of the owner or user
